fresh modern

This is my family’s personal home. Built in 2006, with Mediterranean and Tuscan flare, we wanted a more fresh, soft modern feel. The biggest challenge was realizing there were some things we were going to have to continue to live with as we needed to stay in the home during renovation. We added new cabinetry, beautiful all-natural quartzite, a sub-zero fridge with a modern appeal, refreshed lighting, and slightly adjusted the footprint to provide better functionality. We decided it was not worth the cost to remove the thick texture on the walls as it carried throughout the home. So, we compromised with a flat wall paint so it doesn’t necessarily stand out. These updates made our home feel brand new and made the heart of our home more functional.
